Tracy Hanson, my visionary friend and educator, runs a program she calls
Next Generation Global Education. I talked with her on Skype a few times. I now understand the importance of connected learning.
I can help my students here. Luckily, this school has a Smart Class Room, thanks to our MLA - Hibi Eden. I discussed with the Parent Teacher Association. They permitted use of Internet by the students, under the watchful eyes of teachers. They also agreed to learn Computer and Internet - in an effort to help their children, when the children connect with friends online.
We are launching the program on 6 January 2016. We should have done it on 8 January, as it is the Birthday of Hello Little World Skypers. As 8th is a Sunday, we are celebrating HLWS birthday on 6th Jan.
